april fool's

I woke up yesterday and talked to my sister Erin on the phone.  She told me this lame joke her and her lawyer friends were going to play on one of the judges they work with.  I thought it sounded cheesy, but whatever.  We got off the phone and I began making beds.  Suddenly it dawned on me.

{it was April 1st!}

now, the joke my sister told me wasn't quite as lame.

I was not going to let this day be just any other day.

I quickly grabbed the phone and called Len at the hospital. 

He didn't answer.

Crap!

I called back.  He picked up, and our conversation went a little bit like this:

Me:  Something bad happened!  (I was crying).

Len:  What happened?

Me:  Abbie fell off the chair in our room & hit her head on the elliptical!  (sounding frantic & scared).

Len:  Is she bleeding?

Me:  Yes, a lot!

Len:  I will be right home!

Me:  April Fools!

Len:  You are sick!

Me:  I love you!

Len:  Love you too.

Now, I know what you are all thinking.  Sick.  Sick.  Sick.  But, I didn't have much time to plan, and I wanted to really get him.  

After the adrenaline from that prank wore off, I got bored.  So what did I do next?  

First,  I drove over to the hospital Len was working at & I moved his car!  I was going to move it really far so I knew he couldn't find it, but I wasn't sure how the police would react to my little prank.  So I just moved it from one end to the other.  That way, hopefully it wouldn't take him too long to find.

Second, I texted a handful of people that I was pregnant!  I know, you are thinking that sounds lame, but it worked on all of them!  

I totally get the term {desperate housewife}.  I am just trying to mix things up a bit, you can't blame me for that, right?  

Oh, & by the way, if you were wondering about Len & his car.  This is very sad, but true.  He is under so much stress right now that he didn't even notice I moved his car!  He came out, saw that it wasn't were he thought he parked it, & wondered around until he found it.  He just thought he must have parked it clear across the lot!  Isn't that sad!  I know.  I am really going to have to go easy on him for the next few months.  He is totally loosing his mind!  I will be nice, but I am not making any promises for next year!
