thankful
Over the past few weeks many important things have happened in our family that I have failed to mention. In May, Len & I celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary! I have no idea where the last nine years have gone. During that time we have done so much, but time seems to have flown by. In nine years of marriage we have bought two homes, I graduated nursing school, Len got his bachelor's degree, visited the Dominican republic, had two children, got into medical school, moved to Arizona, owned five different cars, had two root canals, multiple ER visits, had grandparents pass on, gotten two speeding tickets (both Len), had six different jobs, had three surgeries (all me), made many great friends, laughed a lot, and cried more times than I can count. It has been both amazing & stressful. I am beginning to see that life is full of ups and downs, but I am very grateful to have had Len with me every step of the way. I love you Len! Thanks for loving me back!
-June 4, 2009 we celebrated Owen's 5th birthday! Holy cow, I can't believe he is already five! He is such a bright spot in our lives. We are so lucky to be his parents. He brings us so much joy! We love you Owen!

-While we were in UT we were able to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday. We attended a family party at her house. It was so much fun to see so many people we don't get to see very often. The highlight of the party was that my grandma broke the pinata all on her own. She is one tough lady!

-Len's graduation banquet. That was a tough night. This was the last time we were able to hang out with our wonderful friends. We are really going to miss the Romers & the Tranchells! Thanks for so many fun times. We will always have great memories of our Disney land trips, camping, Tombstone, dinners out & in, swimming, movies, & a lot of laughing!

And last but certainly not least, Lens medical school graduation!!!!!!!!! This has been a tough 4 years, and I can't believe it is already over. Len worked so hard. He missed out a lot, but it was worth it. He graduated with honors, and 19th in his class! Pretty amazing considering he had two crazy kids and an even crazier wife! Also, I feel it must be said, that Len did so much for me during those four years of school. He fed kids, bathed them, told bed time stories, woke up in the night with them, & was fun to live with! We love you so much Len! You are going to kick butt at Baystate!
What a smile!
(Why do they do that?)
Abbie really knows how to make things fun!
