update

I thought I would do a little post to let you know what/how we are doing.  We are finally getting back into the swing of things after the holidays.  We've made room for all our new toys & are trying to get a little more organized.  That is one of my goals for this year.  

The kids are going through grandparent withdrawls & searching everywhere for some much needed attention.  Owen however is very excited about being back in school.  He looks forward to it everyday.  He can barely turn back to say "goodbye" when it is time to go.  

This is Owen showing you his most pitiful face.  He has become very theatrical.

He said he didn't want his picture taken, because, it was "too hard".

I was very lucky that Abbie slowed down long enough for this picture.

Most of her pictures are blurry, because she is always on the go!

Owen, the Rock Star!

This is my latest project.

I designed these bags to hang off of all of our chairs for Valentine's Day.  It is a version of the boxes we all made as kids for school.  After I finished making Owen's bag I hung it on his chair.  Owen looked inside & then said: "Mom, now you have to fill this full of special prizes for Valentine's day."  He is totally excited.  Everyday he asks me if it is Valentine's Day yet.  This is going to be a very long month! 

We are all doing well.  Len only has two more interviews left to go on.  We will be so happy when they are done.  The weather here is great, in fact today we were out in shorts & t-shirts.  It was a very warm and wonderful 75 degrees.  Sorry all you Utah suckers!  I actually got hot while Owen was riding his bike, and had to stand in the shade!  Hot in January, who would have thought.  I am really going to enjoy it as much as possible, because next year could really be miserable!
