I hope your day is full of fun! I just wanted to wish you a Happy 28th Birthday. I also wanted to give you some advice about being 28, and since I have had a whole year worth of experience with it I thought I could give you some. You are now in your late twenties. Isn't that sad :( You should really get used to being called ma'am. You should also get used to teenagers referring to you as "that lady". You are so much closer to 30 now. You have two kids. When guys look at you now, it is not to check you out, it is to look at the spit up or snot on your shirt, or to figure out where that overpowering pooh stench is coming from. It is so much harder to look cool when you are carrying a diaper bag. You have been out of high school almost 10 years! Remember being 18? Didn't 28 seem way too far away? I hope my words of wisdom will help you this year. I know I sound so calm and prepared, but you should know that I am freaking out about turning 29!!!! I did not prepare myself for this day. I could not imagine this ever happening to me. I was never going to be 30. Time is not on my side. So please, for me, will you really enjoy this year, because I will never be 28 again and I miss it so much already! Happy Birthday and thank you for being such a great friend!

Wow you found a prize of a picture to post! Man do I always look that bad??? I have been a little scared about 28 but figure things only get better with age, right?? I sure hope so. Thanks for being such a good friend, and helping me through the last 3 years!
I actually feel relieved reading this, because for the longest time I have been thinking I was turning 29. But now I realize I'll only be 28 too. Whew...what a relief. :)
